We ask that you bear in mind that all our products are handmade from natural materials with minimal treatment to the materials, e.g. leather, brass, etc.; colours and shades may vary between products and may have “imperfections.”
This policy forms part of the Terms and Conditions and applies to the entire contents of this website to any orders placed via this website and to any e-mail correspondence between bkd studios Ltd. and you. They do not include wholesale, trade or consultancy services offered by bkd studios Ltd., where they will be covered by their own specific and relevant Terms of Business.
Where the term “services” is used in this document, it refers to services in relation to the item purchased on this website, such as personalisation, shipping and delivery, etc.

We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of this policy, without prior notice to you, by posting updates on this page. If we choose to make any changes after your order has been confirmed, the changes will not be applicable to your order, which will be governed by the terms and conditions and policy in place at the time the order was placed. It is your responsibility to read this policy and ensure you understand them before making a purchase. Our right to change our policy will not affect your statutory rights.

RETURNS
- For items that have not been successfully cancelled and already despatched, you may return or exchange them by informing us by email at curious@bkdstudios.com within 14 days of purchase that you wish to return or exchange them.
- You must then return the product to us within 14 days from the date you informed us, with proof of delivery. You will not be entitled to a refund or to an exchange of your order if you return unwanted items to us more than 28 days after the delivery.
- All goods returned must be in their original condition and either unworn or undamaged. If the items are returned in a worn, damaged, or inadequate condition, we reserve the right to make deductions from any refund, deny the exchange or a full refund (depending on the severity of the damage) to account for the mishandling of the products.
- Once we have received and inspected the items returned, and there are no issues you will be entitled to receive an exchange or refund (less the cost of the original shipping fee paid at the time the order was placed and the shipping fee of the return).
- For items which are returned to us due to refusal of delivery we reserve the right to deduct further postage and penalties incurred from any subsequent refund.
- If you haven't received a refund yet where we have told you we have issued one, please check your bank account or card statement to make sure it hasn't been received and then contact your bank as some banks or card companies take a number of days to credit your account.
- If an item you purchased was purchased with a discount voucher, then we will only refund the amount that you paid (and not the amount the item was listed for).
- bkd does not generally offer sales on their products because we try to practice a fair pricing policy. However, if on the rare occasion we do have a promotion on our items, then you may not be eligible for a refund if you have changed your mind or where a refund is available, we will only refund the amount that you paid (and not the amount the item was listed for). RECEIVING A REFUND
- Your refund can only be credited to the original payment credit or debit card.
- For orders cancelled under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations, the refunded amount will include shipping costs. Shipping costs will not be refunded for any items returned under our standard returns policy.
- If you are based outside the United Kingdom, any customs duties or sales taxes will not be refunded by bkd studios Ltd., however we recommend that you contact your local customs office.
- Where you are provided with a prepaid returns label you will not be charged the shipping cost, taxes, customs and excise associated with returning your item.
EXTENDED RETURNS PERIOD
- bkd offers a relaxed returns window during the months of November and December. Any item(s) purchased during the months of November and December for the purpose of a gift must be returned for a full refund or exchanged by the following 31st January.
EXCHANGES
- All our products are made in limited batches; therefore, we can offer a one-time only exchange.
- If you would like to exchange your item, please be aware that we operate a like-for-like exchange in the same colour or alternative colour subject to availability. If we cannot fulfil this replacement, we will process a full refund provided it meets our returns policy.
