Each model in this exclusive batch has been meticulously crafted by the designer, who approaches each piece as a work of art, perfected from initial concept to final production before making their appearance in the world.
By fully immersing himself in every stage of the creation process, the designer fully forms a deep understanding to truly test the designs and materials strengths and nuances. Resulting in a tangible connection that can only be achieved through hands-on craftsmanship - an essential bond that yields personal fulfilment and beautifully crafted items for everyday use.

Sculpture designed for movement
The leather articles are crafted from a single layer of the most durable, sustainable, and luxurious leather on the planet—full-grain, oak bark-tanned bridle leather. Drawing inspiration from the principles of origami, the design transcends the medium of paper, pushing the boundaries by working with the thickest, strongest, and most resilient sections of the hide—the shoulder and bend.
The moment the designer hand-selects each piece of hide marks the beginning of an endearing journey, where the material's potential starts to unfold. This unique and compelling relationship between maker and material is anything but ordinary-it's a dynamic interplay that evolves throughout the process. As the designer works with the hide, a delicate bond forms, intertwining the roles of maker and material, designer and creator, artist and muse. Each piece of leather is carefully folded, moulded, and coaxed into shape by hand, resulting in a seamless silhouette and robust construction that captures the tension and release of the process. Nearly 40 British businesses, alongside countless skilled individuals (and bees), have contributed to its creation, ensuring a locally grounded yet globally relevant standard of excellence.
Our objective was to source every component within the UK, down to the smallest details such as zippers. Where certain materials or components were not locally available, we committed to partnering with nearby suppliers who align with our strict requirements. In these instances, we have compensated by only selecting traceable products that meet our exacting standards for quality, innovation, and sustainability. This rigorous approach ensures that each element not only fulfils our performance criteria but also upholds our values.
